Mike Holmes is offering a new class for beginner to intermediate players. “Defense in the 21st Century”, an Audrey Grant Course, begins Wednesday, January 18, 2012 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This six-week course, utilizes the Audrey Grant Bridge Basics Series to focus on defensive play. The course is taught at Red & Jerry’s Sports Club, 1840 West Oxford St., Sheridan, CO 80110. Topics covered are: opening leads, second and third hand play, defensive signals, developing defensive tricks, interfering with declarer, and development of the defensive plan.
